💙 Age UK Dementia Care Navigators at Parklands – every Friday
Isle of Wight Age UK Dementia Care Navigators offer a drop-in session every Friday from 11–1 @ Parklands to offer advice and support if you or someone you know is experiencing memory problems.
⛵ ACE7 Monthly Social – for people with young-onset dementia
ACE7 is a group for people with young-onset dementia under the age of 65. From now on, we'll be meeting for a monthly social with tea, coffee and cakes on the first Tuesday of the month at Parklands Café in Cowes!
🏴☠️ Cowes Week Treasure Hunt is back! ⚓
As part of the Cowes Week Bicentenary Celebrations (1–7 August 2026), we're running a fun Treasure Hunt through the historic streets of Cowes, and every entry helps support Parklands Dementia Resource Centre!
☀️ Stay Safe in the Heat – Simple Tips to Keep Cool
While it's lovely to enjoy the warm weather, it's important to stay safe in the heat. Here are some simple tips to help you keep cool — from wearing extra suncream to staying hydrated and checking in on vulnerable neighbours.
🎲😄 Summer Rummikub Tournament at Parklands!
Join us this afternoon from 3.30pm – 5pm for our summer Rummikub tournament! A classic game that blends strategy, luck and quick thinking – perfect for all ages.
🌟 Volunteers Needed at the Wellbeing Club 🌟
We're looking for some extra helping hands to support our wonderful Wellbeing Club on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Could you spare a morning, afternoon, or help at lunchtime?
